MBK Knoxville accepted the MBK Community Challenge to improve the lives of boys and young men of color (BYMOC) in 2014. MBK Knoxville has worked diligently to remove barriers and build strong, lasting bridges to success for Knoxville’s sons by addressing and developing mental health, workforce development, education, prevention and re-entry strategies. With partners, they seek to connect BYMOC to mentoring, resources, and skills necessary to find sustainable employment, higher education or technical training, and a path to a better life. MBK Knoxville is focused on the following five MBK milestones: (2), (3), (4), (5).
