A town hall to celebrate five years of MBK and spotlight courageous changemakers who have turned pain into promise.

Program includes:

  • Sybrina Fulton, Mother of Trayvon Martin, Trayvon Martin Foundation; Rep. Lucy McBath, Mother of Jordan Davis; and Rev. Wanda Johnson, CEO, Oscar Grant Foundation in conversation with John Legend

  • Musical performance by John Legend

  • Town hall conversation with Stephen Curry and President Barack Obama

Wednesday – February 20

9:30am-11:00am PT | Morning Session

Spotlighting what’s working to reduce violence, expand effective mentoring and advance life outcomes for boys and young men of color.

Program includes:

  • Shaka Senghor, Executive Director, Anti-Recidivism Coalition on criminal justice reform

  • Karol Mason, President, John Jay College of Criminal Justice and panel on violence prevention

  • Victor Cruz, Former NFL Receiver in conversation with Susan Taylor, CARES

Candid, action provoking conversations about the challenges and opportunities that have to be addressed to take this work to the next level, and thoughts on priorities for the future.
