Quinn Vittum is the executive director of Re-use Hawai`i, a nonprofit organization where he sustains a thriving circular economy in Hawai`i by reducing waste through deconstruction and building material use. His team diverts over 500 tons of waste annually, reducing 500-600 tons of greenhouse gas emissions each year, serving over 22,000 residents annually with affordable building materials while simultaneously reducing landfill waste. Quinn’s work uniquely connects economic development and environmental sustainability in Hawai`i.
