MBA Candidate, University of Chicago Booth School of Business

Chicago, Illinois

Puja Tripuraneni is an MBA candidate at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She focuses on digital technology and transformation for hospital strategy. Formerly, she was the implementation director at Epic Systems, a healthcare software company where she leveraged AI and machine learning to improve patient engagement, particularly for communities facing language and transportation barriers. Puja led a team of 12 cardiologists to develop innovative solutions addressing critical care gaps, including making the Fontan registry, a database that collects and tracks medical information about patients who have undergone heart surgery, more accessible across age ranges. Driven by a core belief that healthcare accessibility is a right and not a privilege, Puja has mentored over 15 women pursuing healthcare careers to help them transition from clinical roles to business leadership.
