Noella Sudbury is the founder and chief executive officer at Rasa Legal, a digital platform dedicated to making criminal record clearance simple and affordable for everyone. Noella has helped 23,000 people leverage technology to determine their eligibility for record clearance and has successfully cleared over 4,000 criminal records, unlocking access to jobs, housing, and education for individuals impacted by the justice system. Previously, as senior policy advisor to Utah’s Salt Lake County, she led the efforts to pass Utah’s Clean Slate law, automating the expungement process for more than 450,000 across her state, and has provided technical assistance to more than a dozen other states interested in instituting similar policies.
