Jay Lundy is the managing director of NAACP Capital, NAACP’s new venture capital fund leveraging innovation to close systemic gaps in healthcare, economic access, education, and climate equity for communities of color. With a $200 million fund underway, Jay pioneers investment in both founders and fund managers building scalable, high-impact solutions for a more inclusive economy. During the pandemic, he led the nationally recognized Secure Paycheck Protection Program, disbursing loans that helped over 2,500 small Black and Brown- owned businesses rebuild trust with financial institutions. Jay leverages his private sector leadership to deliver not just products but also dignity, to make the venture ecosystem more equitable.
