Director of Aftercare, Safe House Project

Alia Azariah is the director of aftercare at the Safe House Project, where she leads services for survivors of human trafficking, focusing on ensuring their safety and comprehensive support. She has trained over 80,000 professionals, including government officials at the statewide level, to identify and support victims of human trafficking with the goal of building stronger survivor-informed support infrastructure to better protect individuals that are vulnerable to trafficking. Through her advocacy, Alia has successfully driven reform efforts by navigating collaborations with government officials, nonprofit organizations, and law enforcement and bringing them together to design survivor-centered approaches.
