Rob Collins is the innovative programs consultant at the Kentucky Department of Education. He coordinates the Kentucky Innovative Learning Network, a coalition of 43 school districts implementing innovative strategies to improve student achievement. Rob manages the Kentucky Innovative Teacher Fellowship, a program he created that leads teachers nationwide in classroom management and career advancement. Inspired by educators, Rob believes free public education centering equity is the key to a larger, bolder life. Rob works in rural areas and has a background as a high school teacher. He is also a doctoral candidate studying asset-based community development and how to improve rural teacher retention at Eastern Kentucky University through participatory action research.
