Dominicca Troi Washington, M.Ed is the founder and executive director of The SHE Society Incorporated: SHE Chicago is a young women’s empowerment program that provides Social and Emotional Learning, community service opportunities, and college career planning support for inner-city teen girls. SHE Chicago believes that by helping young women identify their purpose and develop great character while exposing them to resources beyond their communities, they can advance the trajectory of their lives and envision themselves as assets to the global community. Dominicca is passionate about closing educational and socio-economic gaps for disenfranchised women and woman-identifying youth of color.
