Oyungoo Enkhbold is an ethical AI and cybersecurity consultant at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Accelerator Lab (A-Lab) Mongolia. A-Lab aspires to contribute to closing the digital divide of vulnerable groups and support inclusive and sustainable development of urban communities in Mongolia. Oyungoo previously worked as a program director at AI Academy Asia, an organization that creates equitable access to technology education. AI Academy Asia works with learners of all ages and backgrounds, offering courses in the foundations of AI, AI model development, and coding. AI Academy Asia has significantly expanded its impact, with enrollment exceeding 100 girls and achieving high student satisfaction. Over 90 percent of graduates from the program choose a STEM-related major for their post-secondary education or work in coding. Oyungoo has extensive experience at the national government level and was inspired to do this work to gain a grassroots perspective on how technology is directly affecting individuals.
