Dr. Shadrack Osei Frimpong is the founder and chief science officer of Cocoa360, a global health organization pioneering a self-financing model within Ghana’s cocoa communities. Cocoa360 generates participation revenue from community-farms and research activities to enhance education and health outcomes, reducing reliance on donor funding. As the founder of Cocoa360, Shadrack empowers communities to transition from aid dependence to health self-sufficiency by integrating behavioral science and incentives such as free healthcare and education to unlock sustainable funding. Through a tech-based spinoff, this model is scaling to 200 communities serving 320,000 families in Ghana and Nigeria.
