Doris Edem Agbevivi is the project manager for energy transition and green infrastructure for Ghana and Liberia at the Agence Français de Développement where she advocates for clean energy, sustainability, and climate action through financing. Prior to her current role, Doris conceptualized and led the pioneering of Ghana’s “Drive Electric Initiative,” a nationwide initiative promoting sustainable energy and transportation. Under this initiative, she organized Ghana’s inaugural Electric Mobility Conference and the first Public Charging Forum and spearheaded the development of standards, regulations, baselines, and market research studies to inform policy and investment in electric mobility. Her strategies have been disseminated across the West African region, fostering the adoption of sustainable clean energy practices throughout the continent. Speaking at over 50 conferences globally, Doris has actively participated in and led technical knowledge exchange events to effectively raise international awareness regarding sustainable transport and energy utilization.
