Impact Measurement Consultant, B Lab Africa

Egypt

Amira Hussein is an impact measurement consultant at B Lab Africa, a nonprofit network transforming the global economy to benefit people, communities, and the planet. As the first certified B Corp consultant in the MENA region, Amira advises impact-driven enterprises across different sectors. Amira analyzes key challenges and motivations that small and medium-sized enterprises in the MENA region face in measuring their impact and guides governments, businesses, nonprofits, and academic institutions to enhance responsible growth, manage natural resources, support social entrepreneurship, and promote sustainable business practices. Through her work, Amira has fostered a growing community of entrepreneurs and organizations committed to sustainability and impact measurement. By introducing concepts like the B Impact Assessment and environmental, social, and governance integration—still relatively new in the region—she has led change management efforts that empower businesses to reimagine their role in society. Her guidance has helped early adopters begin their impact journeys, positioning them as champions of purpose-driven business across North and East Africa.
