Olerato Keegope is currently the senior advocacy and communications officer at Sentebale, an organization that works in Lesotho and Botswana to provide and enable holistic care to young people living with HIV/AIDS and mental health challenges. Sentebale also provides vocational training and entrepreneurial skills to at-risk youth. At Sentebale, Olerato coordinates “Let Youth Lead,” a program that provides young people with a platform to voice their challenges and propose solutions by meaningfully engaging with relevant policymakers and stakeholders. She strongly believes in active citizenship and meaningful youth engagement as key components for sustainable development.
