Tina Boules Guirguis

Tina Boules Guirguis is the Founder of Taqa Solutions, one of Egypt’s top five renewable energy start-ups aimed at providing solutions for rural electrification. She is an Energy Transition Economist, advising policymakers on how to transition energy systems to a low carbon system in ways that leverage industry 4.0 technologies. In a collaboration with Energy Web Foundation, she focused her research on Blockchain applications as a vehicle to finance renewable electricity resources. She is part of the expert community for the World Economic Forum that works on delivering projects on the Future of Energy. Tina was awarded the Chevening scholarship and is a Global Shaper and a Changemaker at Ashoka.
