Kenya
Mohamed Hassan is the Founder of Kakuma Hub, an organization that fosters peaceful co-existence among refugees and host communities, while also providing safe spaces for creative ideas. Mohamed spent over 20 years in a refugee camp and uses his experience to advocate for refugees. He believes that we need to reassess how we view the refugee narrative, provide ethical leadership, and come up with sustainable solutions that foster innovation and uphold human dignity. Mohamed wants to empower refugees to move away from aid dependency to self-reliance and human investment.
