MBK Denver accepted the MBK Community Challenge to improve the lives of boys and young men of color in 2014. MBK Denver is anchored in the Office of Children’s Affairs under the direction of Mayor Hancock. They are working collaboratively with youth, community members, nonprofits, educational institutions, businesses and government agencies. Together, they are identifying barriers for boys and young men of color, designing comprehensive strategies, and laying the groundwork to create opportunities. In 2018, MBK Denver was selected as an MBK Community to Watch and is focused on four MBK milestones: (3), (4), (5), (6).
